Nafun International is proud to announce that it has received the OPAL 2022 Best Practices Award in the Operational Excellence category.

This award was presented at a ceremony held under the patronage of His Excellency Eng. Salim Al-Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals.

The award recognizes Nafun International for Sand Cleanout service in oil wells, utilizing the JetSweep™ downhole service. This service effectively addresses sand and scale cleanout, Consumed acid cleanout, post-frac sand cleanout, well lifting and well testing (underbalance), By employing the JetSweep™ service, we minimize oil deferment for our clients, it typically takes 3 to 6 months on average to return the shutdown well back to production due to a sand issue using Conventional well intervention, which requires double hoist entry and single CT entry in-between for effective sand cleaning. However, by using JetSweep™ service, the entire job can be done in one single entry, allowing the well to be hooked back up to production. The JetSweep saves approximately one-third of the time compared to conventional methods.
